Privacy Policy

Visitors
You can use the site without an account. We set no cookie for visitors who do not sign in. See Cookies.
We count visits with a privacy-friendly analytics service that sets no cookies. It records the page you open, the page that sent you here, campaign tags in the link, your browser type, screen size and country. It does not store your IP address. When you open an original job posting, we count the click and the site you go to. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We count clicks on links to original postings and apply pages on our own server: the posting, the time and the target site, without your IP address. When you are signed in, the click is linked to your account. We remove this link after 365 days, or at once when you delete your account.
The web server records your IP address, the page you open and your browser type in its access log, to keep the service running and secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the access log for 14 days.
Accounts
You can sign in with Google. With an account you see every matching position. You must be 14 or older to create an account (article 7 of the Spanish law 3/2018, LOPDGDD).
What we get from Google. Google sends us a user ID, your name and your email address. Google also tells us if the email address is verified. We do not get your password, your contacts or your posts.
What you tell us. On the welcome page you can choose regions of interest, your preferred country, roles of interest and seniority. All of these are optional.
What we record. When you are signed in, we record each search and each job list you open: the time, the page, the filters and the number of results. We record nothing like this for visitors who are not signed in.
Why we use it, and the legal basis.
- To run your account and show you every result. The legal basis is the contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We use your email address only for your account, for example to answer you about it.
- To send you marketing emails and promotions, for example new jobs that match your preferences, only if you tick the box for it. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and article 21 of the Spanish law 34/2002, LSSI). We store when you gave the consent and the exact text you saw. You can withdraw it at any time on your account page.
- To learn which searches and regions matter to our users, in totals only. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookie. When you start to sign in, we set one cookie, signed by the server. It keeps you signed in and protects the sign-in against forgery. It is strictly necessary for the account, so we do not ask for consent. It ends when you log out, or after 14 days. See Cookies.
How long we keep it. We keep your search history for 365 days, and the link between your clicks and your account for the same time. We keep your account until you delete it.
How to see, download or delete it. Your account page shows your account details and preferences. There you can also download all the data we keep about you, including your search history and clicks, as a JSON file. Press "Delete my account" to delete your account and your search history at once. You can also write to the email address above. The sign-in provider keeps its own data about you; its own privacy policy applies to that.
Job postings
Job postings can contain the name or the contact details of a recruiter. We do not show the posting text on this site, only a short card and a link to the original posting. We use the posting text to set the labels. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in giving job seekers an overview of open positions (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). A posting is deleted when the employer removes it, or when it is older than 30 days.
Who processes the data for us
We do not sell your data and we show no advertising. Service providers process data for us under a data processing agreement, in these categories: hosting, delivery of the site and protection against attacks, email, team chat, and visit counting. We name them on request.
Google runs the sign-in. It is a separate controller for the data it processes when you sign in with it.
Transfers outside the EU. Some of these providers can process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, a copy in a common format (portability) and a restriction of its use, and you can object to its use. You can withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time on your account page; this does not affect what we did before. Write to the email above. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
